One step closer to preventing the West Nile Virus!

 About Us

The story behind the discovery of Equine Bug-Off is an interesting one of coincidence, timing, and just plain yappiness! A number of months ago, I had the opportunity to meet the man who developed the insecticide used in Equine Bug-Off. After spending some time talking to him, and learning about the annihilating benefits of his product, I was very intrigued.

As a horse owner, I fear the nasty little bugs that fly around delivering strange diseases like Pigeon Fever, and not so strange diseases like West Nile Virus. (And I'm not even a Performance Horse owner, my guy is just a plain off-the-track guy who knows how to run slow, turn left!)

As the "Inventor" and I talked, and talked some more, we began to see the value of figuring out a way which would allow us to use it in the Equine world. So I began doing market research, which consisted of talking with a very close friend about how she would like to use it, and if she would even use it. The thought was, "If she liked it and would use it then it would be a go." (She's very protective of what her Cutting horses are exposed to.)

So, after more market research, I returned to the "Inventor" and said, "Well, if we can't put it on trailers, I'm not sure of its value to the Equine world as just a paint additive."

And, now here we are, the only company that offers an EPA-registered insecticide which can be applied to any aluminum, alloy, or wood building/trailers used in the Equine world. It's been a good ride thus far, and I am excited to see where it goes.
